Ymer sends Sweden to Davis Cup final

Mikael Ymer & # 39; s a fiery comeback sent Sweden to the Davis Cup final.

Ymer rallied Alejandro Tabilo 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 win Chile's conquest of Sweden 3-1 in the Davis Cup qualifiers at the Royal Tennis Hall in Stockholm, Sweden.

The team of Swedish captain Robin Soderling has now won eight of its last nine games as it will play for the Cup for the first time since 2012, when the Swedes competed in the old World Group format.

Twenty-four nations will compete in the Davis Cup match this week with the goal of winning one of 12 places to qualify for the Davis Cup in the Rakuten Madrid final in November.

The 12 losing nations will compete in World Group I matches in September 2020.

This weekend’s winning nations will join the six nations that have already qualified for the 2020 Davis Cup final – the 2019 semi-finalists, Canada, Great Britain, Russia and champion Spain – and the wild cards 2020, France and Serbia.
