Ravindra fires Ravindra for the first time in test cricket
Ravindra vs Ravindra:New Zealand star Rachin Ravindra has been making a lot of news lately. He has caught everyone’s attention ever since he played his first match in India, not only because of his game but also because of his name. Rachin recently revealed that he is named after Indian battle legends fromhul Dravid and Sacthere Tendulkar.
Rachin Ravindra is currently playing against India in the ongoing first test match at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur and has met another namesake of his Ravindra Jadeja. Apart from the similar names, both cricketers also wear the same jersey number 8 and bowl slowly with the left arm and hit left handed.
Rachin walked out to hit number 7 during a tricky situation where New Zealand had lost to Tom Latham for 95. Jadeja was in the midst of his spell when the two finally met. It was over in the 23rd when Jadeja sent the debutant away with a great delivery.
Ravindra Jadeja unleashed a 94.7 km/h delivery outside the left-handed off-stump. Rachin came forward eager to play offside. However, the ball spun big and snuck between the batsman’s bat and pad gate to crash into the stumps. Jadeja was on the run after knocking out Rachin for just 13 runs.
