Sir Richard Branson listed his vacation property in Mallorca with Collective Villa, opening the doors of its 680 acre estate to vacationers.
Appointed Sa Punta De S’Aguila, the main house is on the north coast of the island of Palma.
Sa Punta De SAguila literally translates to Eagles Point and is perched above the west coast, with spectacular views of the sea and the mountains.
The estate is a short drive from the village of Banyalbufar in an unspoiled part of the island known as authentic Mallorca. The land also includes two other chalets, Sa Terra Rotja and Villa Son Bonlaguret, available for rental separately. Sa Punta De SAguila and the other two villas on the estate share a tennis court (with rackets and balls provided).
The five-bedroom Sa Punta De S'Aguila can accommodate up to 12 people and includes a private heated pool 15 meters long, table tennis and games, breathtaking views of the sea and many sun loungers and parasols on the surrounding terrace.
The price from 22,375 to 32,075 per week also includes all food and beverages (including wines and spirits). A continental breakfast is prepared for all guests each morning, as well as a three-course lunch and dinner daily.
The interiors have a traditional Mallorcan style, with exposed stone walls, oak beams and terracotta floors.
But despite a lot of period details and historic charm (parts of the buildings date back to the 13th century), the interiors are also modern.
Outside there is a covered outdoor dining area and a relaxing outdoor lounge with panoramic sea views.
The second villa on this property is Villa Son Bonlaguret (13,425 – 19,245 per week), and has very similar interiors, plus a 13th century turret, converted into a single bedroom.
Each of the rooms combines original beams and terracotta floors with modern furnishings.
The interiors are modern rustic and contrast the original stone with modern fittings, including its 'n' sinks, freestanding baths and walk-in showers.
