It looks like Lyon have secured their place in the Champions League semi-finals as they are currently 3-0 up against Juventus with around 10 minutes to go.

Catarina Macario added her name to the scoresheet in the 73rd minute.

Host Lyon finally look comfortable in the second leg of their quarter-final match against Juventus, leading 2-0.

Ada Hegerberg opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, followed by a goal for Malvine Malard two minutes later.

Lyon leads on aggregate 3-2.

Arsenal’s time in the Champions League is over after a 2-0 loss to Wolfsburg on the night the hosts advance to the semi-finals.

Wilfred Ndidi of Leicester City is out for the rest of the season.

The Nigeria international, 25, has had to undergo surgery after he injured his knee in Leicester’s 2-1 defeat to Rennes in the Europa Conference League on March 17.

Rodgers spoke about Ndidi ahead of Leicester’s visit to Manchester United: he has had surgery and will try to come back in June. Papy Mendy came in, we thought he left last summer but came back and he has always been professional.

Former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy will be the trainer of PSV Eindhoven next season.

Roger Schmidt will leave the role at the end of the season when his contract expires and Van Nistelrooy has agreed a deal that runs until 2025. He scored 62 goals in 67 league appearances for PSV before moving to Manchester United in 2001.

It has always been my dream to become PSV head coach, said Van Nistelrooy, who has scored 95 goals in 150 Premier League appearances and won a league title during his time at United. The role will be his first senior management position.

Manchester United and Liverpool meet in Thailand as the Premier League duo return on a major pre-season tour for the first time since the COVID-19 outbreak.

The pandemic has prevented rivals United and Liverpool from touring their favorite destinations in Australia, Asia and the Americas for the past two summers.
