Baylor delays spring football | Baylor
Baylor football will delay the start of its spring training to ensure the safety and well-being of our student athletes, the university announced on Wednesday evening.
Baylor was scheduled to begin his first spring exercises under the guidance of new trainer Dave Aranda on March 17, but will now postpone this until at least March 23.
The situation will continue to be monitored and any other changes to the schedule deemed necessary will be made as more information becomes available, the university said in a statement.
In addition, Baylor will prohibit recruits from making official or unofficial campus visits until March 23 as well.
MCC # 10 Baseball Takes Two at the Temple

The Highlanders edged 4-0 on a single from Jalen Battles RBI in the second, and they also enjoyed a two-run circuit inside Dylan Blomquist's park in the third.
Connor Phillips had his ups and downs on the mound for MCC, but the first-year right-hander on the hard throw still won to 3-1 this year.
MCC and Temple will end their streak Friday at the Bosque River Ballpark, a change from the original schedule.
Highlassies # 19 destroy Temple with double beak
The 19th ranked McLennans softball team won a Temple home sweep Wednesday at the Bosque River Ballpark. The Highlassies won the opening game, 3-0, behind a full shutout of Reese Taylor in the circle, then won a 10-4 win in the final drink.
The opening game scored no goals until the fourth, when MCC (17-4, 6-2) loaded the bases without a withdrawal and then scored when Melayna Lopez is failed in a double game.
MCC added two more points in the sixth, scoring a Temple error and a Lindsey Evans RBI singles.
Taylor was brilliant in the circle, allowing only three hits.
In the second game, MCC scored five points in the first set to set the tone. Cydney DeLeon went 3-for-3 with two doubles while Evans completed the circuit and drove in three runs.
MCC will play Hill in a double match starting at noon Thursday.
