-The Wildcats swept the Los Angeles schools for the first time since the 2001-2002 season with a pair of wins over the weekend.
– With both Arizona games going into overtime this weekend, the Wildcats have played back-to-back overtime games for the first time since the 2013/14 season (Iona and Michigan).
– The last time the Wildcats won back-to-back overtime was in the 2006-07 season when they defeated TCU (59-56) and NC State (68-66).
-Arizona’s game against USC was the first to go into double overtime since 2018/19 (Oregon).
-The Wildcats had a 38-32 lead in points in the paint, going to 15-2 in games where they outscored opponents in the key.
-Arizona shot 43.2% for the game and is now 18-2 in games where it hits at least 40.0% of its shots.
–Kate Reese poured 33 points for a career best. The point total is the most by a Wildcat this season and the first 30 points by a Wildcat since 2022. Reese grabbed seven rebounds and was perfect from the free throw line.
–JadeLoville posted her 17th double-digit scoring performance of the year with 17 points. She went 5-of-10 from the field, including two 3-pointers.
-It was a high-scoring night before Shaina Pellington with 17 points. The fifth year added five rebounds, seven assists and four steals to her stats.
–Maya Nnaji came up big for the Cats, dropping to seven points, including the tying shot to send the game into a second overtime. The freshman was also important on the boards, grabbing eight rebounds.
–Esmery Martinez scored eight points, four assists and two steals on the day.
