Venkatesh Iyer plays cricket with children in Tamil Nadu temple and posts a video
By Pramod Madhav: Cricketer Venkatesh Iyer took to Instagram and posted a video of him playing with some kids in the building of a temple in Tamil Nadu. The video quickly went viral. While some users praised the best cricketer, others believed that he should not have played in the temple building.
He posted the video with the caption, “The love for the game is incredible. Had a great time with all the young Veda Pathshala students in Kancheepuram.”

The development came after Iyer visited the Chandrashekara Swamy Manimandapam built near Paalaaru to pay homage.
When the Vedha Padhshala students asked him to play with them, he immediately agreed.
He played a game and even hit a six with the students.
Venkatesh Iyer has played about 36 IPL matches and scored 956 points.
He scored 104 points in the 2023 IPL season.

When the video went viral, many praised Iyer for his talent, but a few criticized him for playing cricket in the temple building.
