Pakistan Tour of England: Biosecure environment not ideal for cricket, Mudassar Nazar says

Former Pakistani cricketer Mudassar Nazar believes that national teams from the past would have imploded if they had been held in “restrictive” quarantine that the current party is leading up to the Test and T20 series against England next month.

“I have been told that our players who are currently in training in England have become bored with all the limitations etc. It could have an effect on their performance in the upcoming series as it is never easy to play in England” Nazar.

Nazar said the biosafe environment could negatively impact national cricketers.

“If I had been in such a place, I would have been very bored. It is difficult to play in these situations, ”he said.

He also questioned the decision to call on Muhammad Amir to join the team in England after the pacer initially withdrew due to the birth of his child.

Nazar, also a qualified coach, said he saw the upcoming Test series in England as a final frontier for batsman Babar Azam.
