MW Tennis Players of the Week – February 21 – Mountain West Conference
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. New Mexicos Aram Noroozian has been named Mountain West Men's Tennis Player of the Week, while Nevadas Rmy Trgours was named MW Men's Tennis Freshman of the Week. States of San Diego Yasmine Kabbaj earned MW Womens Tennis Player of the Week honors, while San Jos States Cheuk Ying Shek was named MW Womens Tennis Freshman of the Week.

Earned a pair of match-clinching wins in singles as New Mexico claimed wins over Wichita State (4-3) and UTSA (5-2) in Wichita, Kansas, on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
Helped the Lobos push their winning streak to six games.
Wichita States defeated Vanja Hodzic 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) at No. 2 after recovering from a 5-3 deficit in the second set and fighting off two set points to clinch the team win.
Won the match against UTSA with a 6-2, 7-5 victory over Tomas Pinho at No. 3.

Earned a straight-sets victory in Nevada's 4-2 loss in Utah on Saturday.
He earned a 6-4, 6-3 win over Dylan Applegate at No. 5 singles.
He lost a tight battle at No. 5 at BYU on Friday, winning the first set before falling in a tiebreaker, 6-7 (4), 6-4, 10-4.
LADIES TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Went a combined 5-1 this week, including a 3-0 singles mark and a pair of wins over ranked opponents.
Opened her week with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over No. 86 Ana Vilcek at No. 1 singles in a 7-0 victory over Hawaii on Wednesday. Also combined with Mya Petchey for a 6-2 victory at No. 1 doubles over Vilcek and Nelly Knezkova.
Helped San Diego State to a 7-0 win over Long Beach State on Friday, posted a 6-3, 6-3 win over Rhona Cook at No. 1 singles and teamed with Petchey to a 6-4 win over Cook and Peppi Ramstedt at number 1 doubles.
In a 5-2 loss to No. 14 California on Sunday, Kabbaj earned her second win of the week, defeating No. 21 Hannah Viller Moeller at No. 1 singles, 4-6, 7-5, 10-4. She suffered her only defeat of the week against 15th-ranked Mao Mushika and No. 1 doubles Moeller, 7-6 (3).
