Stinchcomb has been a key piece for Clemson over the past three years, helping the Tigers to a 4-3 mark in ACC Men's Tennis Championship appearances, including a quarterfinal appearance in his freshman season (2022). Stinchcomb transferred to Clemson after a single redshirt season at Tennessee in the shortened 2019-20 year. As a recruit, Stinchcomb was a highly touted doubles player and a key piece in singles. He signed with the Volunteers as the No. 1 recruit in doubles and No. 49 in singles (tennisrecruiting.net).

The redshirt senior joins Liberty with an overall mark of 23-27 in singles and a mark of 13-27 in doubles after three years at Clemson. Stinchcomb enjoyed the most playing time in his second redshirt season. He played to a record of 9-13 in singles and a record of 9-14 in doubles.
Stinchcomb enjoyed a run in singles at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships in October 2023. Needing four wins in one day to clinch the title, Stinchcomb defeated two of Vanderbilt's foes, a UNCW opponent, and defeated Georgia's Parker Mariencheck in the final with 6-1. 3-6, 6-3.
Stinchcomb is the third addition and second acquisition via transfer to the Flames' 2024-25 roster, following Carl Roothman, who signed from Oklahoma State on Thursday.
The Flames (17-8) are looking to improve on the 2024 spring season, which saw the team rank high at No. 45 in the ITA team rankings. The spring season concluded with a second-place finish at the 2024 CUSA Men's Tennis Championship and a semifinal appearance at the 2024 UTR Sports NIT Championships.
