Violet-Lily Marquis and Dimitar Dimitrov became double national singles champions on day two of the Mark Bates Ltd U10-13 National Championships.

They won their respective Under-12 titles, in addition to their victories yesterday in the Under-13 and Under-11 age groups respectively.

Saisuriya Prasanna Kumar won the Under-10 Boys Singles and Cindy Xiao was the corresponding champion in the round-robin Girls Singles.

In the Under-12 doubles, Hannah Saunders & Amber Lemmon came out on top in the girls category and Sinan Surensoy & Zaid Aldilimi won the boys category.

Singles for girls under 12 years old

Violet-Lily Marquis

Violet-Lily Marquis became a two-time national champion as she added the Under-12 title to the Under-13 title she won yesterday.

The second seed defeated top seed Hannah Saunders 3-0 (11-7, 11-5, 11-9) in the final.

In the semi-final, Amber Lemmon, the Under 11 champion, was defeated 11-5, 11-1, 11-7 by Marquis, the Under 13 champion. Saunders defeated Assil Sarri 11-8, 11-7, 11-6 .
