Hockey opens season October 5 at home vs. UMass
Schedule 2024-25
WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley opens the 2024-2025 season at home against UMass, one of 18 home games for the Falcons at Bentley Arena.
There are 35 games scheduled, 26 of which will be against Atlantic Hockey opponents. Eight games will be non-conference contests, four of which will be against Hockey East teams, in addition to an exhibition game at home against UMass Lowell on Oct. 6.
After opening weekend, the Falcons will travel to UNH on October 12. The two programs last played each other in the 2019-20 season and last played in Durham in 2018-19.
The first Atlantic Hockey games of the season are Oct. 25-26 at Army West Point.
After a home-and-home series with Sacred Heart on Nov. 1-2, the Falcons have a season-long six-game homestand with series against RIT (Nov. 8-9), AIC (Nov. 15-16) and Air Force ( November 22-23).
After that, it's eight straight games, including visits to Northeastern (Nov. 30) and Maine (Dec. 29), played in Portland for the second year in a row.
In the second half of the season, the Falcons host Holy Cross (Jan. 17-18), Army (Feb. 4), Robert Morris (Feb. 7-8) and Canisius (Feb. 14-15).
They play at Princeton for two non-conference games on January 25 and 26. The last time the two teams met was in the 2006-2007 season.
The regular competition ends with away games against Holy Cross (February 20) and Sacred Heart (February 22).
