The powers that be in college football flexed their muscles on the recruiting trail this weekend: Texas, Michigan host five-stars

The month of June was a great, albeit tiring month,on the college football recruiting calendar. Last weekend the best players in the country did their thing Overtime OT7 Final in Florida. Next week, the top quarterbacks of the Class of 2025 will head to Los Angeles for the Final Elite 11 2024.

In between all that, big visits are happening on college campuses from coast to coast as schools prepare for July's wave of commitments (before the commitments comewe get the visits).

The team of recruiting experts at 247Sports, the leader in college football recruiting coverage, has selected the visit or storyline they have in mind this Father's Day weekend.

Alabama is making waves with No. 6 TE

Kaleb Edwards visits Capstone for the second time

Alabama has a big weekend with players from all over the country, but one of the best tight ends in the country will be in attendance after being in the state earlier this week. El Dorado Hills (California) Oak Ridge tight end Caleb Edwards was there Texas Went there for a midweek last weekend Chestnut brown earlier this week and will now be in Tuscaloosa for his official visit. The Tide offered the Class of 2025 tight end No. 6 when he was there for the A-Day Game in April, but the relationship with the head coach Kalen DeBoer and offensive coordinator Nick Sheridan goes back to when they were one of the first to offer Edwards while in Washington. Bryan Ellis, the Tide tight ends coach, is also involved in his recruitment. But the offer from DeBoer and Sheridan — and the presence of Edwards' neighbor, Austin Mackin the Tide program – Alabama has taken an important position heading into the visit.” Brandon Huffman, 247Sports

Georgia in big fight with… Duke?

Make-or-break weekend for Top 100 DL

“Georgia has a big visit on deck with Greensboro (NC) Grimsley Top100 defensive linemanBryce Daviscome to campus. I know. Everyone has put the 6-foot-4, 245-pounder in itGeorgia's 2025 classfor quite some time, but I really believe his interest inDukeis very real – and the Blue Devils coaching staff couldn't have made a better impression on the state native during last week's official visit. I'm told there are some in the Davis household who prefer Manny Diaz's Duke program over all others, but his love for Georgia football is undeniable. Keep an eye onClemsonalso. The Tigers are a legitimate contender. However, this weekend will be extremely important and will likely result in his addition to the Bulldogs' commitment list, or it will be the moment when the nationNo. 63 player overallrealizes he wants to be a Blue Devil, or maybe even a Tiger.” Tom Loy, 247Sports

Michigan hopes to change the buzz with 5-star OT

Wolverines tout academics in matchup against Stanford

“Overland Park (Kan.) Blue Valley Northwest five-star offensive tackleAndreas Babalolagoes toMichiganthis weekend. There's a legitimate buzz to itStanford's favor after last weekend's official against Palo Alto. It's Michigan's turn now, and the Wolverines may be the school with the best chance to change that buzz. They have academics to offer, and that's itimportantin this decision, and the development of the offensive line with the head coachSherron Mooreand offensive line coachGrant Newsomeable to tag the recruitment. Michigan has done well in that area as well, with players like former four-star Kansas City (Mo.) offensive tackle RockhurstAndreas Spraguea year ago. TheGlutton the weekend started with a bang, with safety being a top priority Name Winston and increase their class ranking from No. 51 to No. 40. Can they keep the good vibes going?” Allen Trieu, 247Sports

Gamecocks in danger of losing top '25 promise

“We're going to push back somewhat on the 'big crowd to watch this weekend' question because for the Gamecocks, this weekend could inadvertently be defined by who is there someone else's campus. Chester (Va.) Thomas Dale four-star cornerback Shamari Tombs is the highest ranked player to commit South Carolina, but he shifted his official visit schedule and no longer features the Gamecocks. He will be in Michigan this weekend and make a trip there on June 20 Virginia (which coincides with his high school team's camping trip at UVA) and visits Georgia June 21-23. Earls said he remains committed to the Gamecocks, but it could only be a matter of time before he's in another program's class. The concern for South Carolina isn't limited to the Earls officially visiting Georgia during the last open period in June instead of the Gamecocks. He was scheduled to officially visit South Carolina from May 31 to June 2, but it was postponed so the Gamecocks could get him before the summer dead period began. Brian Dohn, 247Sports

Tennessee can crash a two-team party for 5-star EDGE

Vols gain momentum in fierce pursuit of Isaiah Gibson

“Warner Robins (Ga.) High five-star edge rusherIsaiah Gibsonwill make an official visitTennesseethis weekend. The nationsNo. 1 edge rusherhas committed to itUSCsince March, but Gibson continues to test the market.Georgia, where he took an official visit the weekend of May 31, is widely seen as the Trojans' biggest threat. 247Sportsreportedlast month, however, that Tennessee is suing USC and Georgia as its main competition. The Vols last hosted Gibson in April and were subsequently added to the calendar for this weekend. Gibson expects to continue his recruitment in the fall, but Tennessee can solidify its position as a top prospect with a Knockout official visit this weekend.” Anna Adams, 247Sports

Texas hosts Dakorien Moore, the nation's top WR

Are Longhorns the absolute favorite for Moore?

“I'm going to stick with the five-star theme and go with the No. 1 receiver in the country Dakorien Moore. While it's true that I could probably mention the Duncanville (Texas) goal every week, this week feels especially big. His recruitment appears to be taking a new turn by the week following the end of his duties LSU in May before visiting State of Ohio and return to Baton Rouge. The Tigers are now back in the picture, but Texas is the school that made the most noise when Moore originally opened his recruitment. It's no secret that Texas has several built-in advantages for Moore, as his mother was born in Austin and he still has family in the area. There's a lot of confidence coming from the Texas program that they can ultimately close the deal and add the elite prospect to one of the nation's best wide receiver rooms, and the Longhorns have all three Crystal Ball predictions for Moore in their favor . While another visit to Oregon looms next week, this feels like a big moment for everyone involved.” Mike Roach, 247Sports

Utah appears to be making noise with a one-time “quiet” five-star commitment

Ole Miss commit Jerome Myles has a big visit planned in SLC

Utahkept a quiet commitment from a five-star, in-state wide receiverJerome Mylesuntil he made a resonant official visitBe madamin April, and then joined the rebels. Things have been slow since then, but this weekend the Utes will get a chance to bounce back for the playmaker from Draper Corner Canyon. The connections in Salt Lake City are already deep, and the expectation is that this freshman quarterback will emergeIsaac Wilson– his former high school and club 7-on-7 teammate – will be the player-host for Myles all weekend as the Utes hope to convince the highly talented pass-catcher to stay close to home. Myles also has trips to Texas A&M (June 21) and Michigan (July 26) scheduled as other contenders battle to make up ground on Ole Miss, but Utah will get the first chance to close the gap.” Blair Angulo, 247Sports

The car insurance industry hasn't remained untouched by these changes. On the internet, drivers can compare insurance prices and find out which sellers have the best offers. View photos The advantages of comparing online car insurance quotes are the following: Online quotes can be obtained from anywhere and at any time. Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless.
