Recruiting in the Class of 2025 has been going really well lately for Virginia Tech football coach Brent Pry. He recently received commitments from cornerback Sheldon Robinson and defensive lineman Christian Evans.
Two weeks after Virginia Tech received a commitment from Robinson, a three-star quarterback in the Class of 2025 made a decision on his future and it came down to Virginia Tech and South Carolina, with the Hokies coming out on top for the coveted title . AJ brand.
The 6-foot-2 Brand, who hails from Shane Beamer's South Carolina backyard, chose the Hokies over the Gamecocks, Oregon State, Charlotte, Miami of Ohio and others.
