Former tennis star Mardy Fish wins the second annual Drive Fore Kids Celebrity Golf Tournament
FALMOUTH (WGME) – Famous golfers took their final swing Sunday at Falmouth Country Club to conclude the second annual Drive Fore Kids charity golf tournament.
The final round of golf started two hours earlier than originally planned to beat the rain. But then again, Mother Nature had other plans.
Even when the start times went up, the rain continued to fall. Although former MLS player Taylor Twellman, who started the day in third place behind Mardy Fish, didn't seem to mind at all.

First-round leader and former tennis pro Mardy Fish started the day with three consecutive birdies. But then the rain came, halting play for an hour.

The tournament raised $100,000 for both the Barbara Bush Childrens Hospital and the Dempsey Center.
And for their efforts, first place winner Fish took home a prize of $50,000, and runner-up Twellman took home $25,000.
Drive Fore Kids plans to hold its third annual tournament in June 2025.
