Kansas State Football makes the final push for Goodland's Linkon Cure
Kansas State football played host to the final four official June visitors of the 2025 recruiting cycle last weekend and began its month-long dead period on Monday with no immediate new commitments.
Still, it's been a fruitful month for coach Chris Klieman and his staff, who have already made seven commitments and the biggest potential prize may yet be yet to come. All eyes are now on five-star Goodland tight end Linkon Cure, the Wildcats' top target, who made the last of his four official visits to Manhattan this weekend after previous stops with finalists Kansas, Texas A&M and Oregon.
Cure said last month before the official visits that he plans to make a decision before his senior season at Goodland High School.
The four most recent of K-State's 10 commitments are all on the defensive end this fall, including a pair of linebackers, a cornerback and a safety. All four have three-star ratings from both 247Sports and On3.

The linebackers are Sawyer Schilke, of Kearney, Nebraska, who committed on June 14, just a week after receiving his offer from the Wildcats, and Maguire Richman of Blue Valley High School. Richman visited Manhattan the weekend of June 14 and pulled the trigger five days later.
Schilke, the No. 13 player in Nebraska for 2025, chose K-State over offers from North Dakota State and Northern Illinois. Richman visited both Tulsa and Memphis and had an offer from Iowa.
The most decorated of the four was Lakeland, Florida, cornerback JoJo Scott, who also began his official visit on June 14 and committed two days later. K-State not only defeated Big 12 opponents Kansas, Iowa State and West Virginia, but also received offers from Wisconsin, Nebraska, North Carolina State and Louisville, among others.
Safety Dominic Mitchell, of Phoenix, was another June 14 visitor who chose the Wildcats, announcing his decision on June 19. His offers included the service academies, Princeton and Connecticut.

K-State pulled out all the stops to woo Cure last weekend, including a golf outing with starting quarterback Avery Johnson, head coach Klieman and associate head coach/co-offensive coordinator Matt Wells. Johnson also posted a photo on social media with Cure and recent Colorado transfer Dylan Edwards, potentially bringing together Kansas State's three most prominent recruits from 2023 and '25.
Other 2025 visitors from last weekend who had yet to announce their intentions included Coffeyville offensive lineman Keiton Jones, defensive tackle Kade Pietrzak of West Fargo, North Dakota, and running back Monterio Elston of Little Rock, Arkansas.

View photos The advantages of comparing online car insurance quotes are the following: Online quotes can be obtained from anywhere and at any time. Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless. Usually, insurance companies will do research about a potential customer before granting him coverage. Online quotes can be sorted easily. Although drivers are recommended to not choose a policy just based on its price, drivers can easily sort quotes by insurance price. Using brokerage websites will allow drivers to get quotes from multiple insurers, thus making the comparison faster and easier.
