WT signs Na Dong – Baylor

Dong comes to Waco from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China.

Dong boasts a career-high ITF singles ranking of 98 and 715 in the WTA, boosted by a semi-finalist appearance in the W15 Shenzhen and two quarter-final appearances in the W40 Shenzhen and W15 Tianjin in the past year. She was also a singles champion at the ITA Guangzhou G3 junior tournament.
In the fall of 2022, Dong teamed with Jennifer Luikham to win the Monastir W15 doubles title.
The Longxiang High School graduate is the daughter of Juanjuan Tian and has a sister, Yuan Dong.
Dong joins the Bears after a 17-13 dual meet season that advanced to the NCAA Stanford Regional. 2024 marked the 18th NCAA Tournament appearance under Coach Scrivano, the program's all-time winningest coach.
