Women's Tennis Boards Carrington Hayes
FULLERTON, California. – The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team announced Wednesday that they have added incoming University of Colorado transfer Carrington Hayes.
“I am thrilled to welcome Carri to Cal State Fullerton! She is a hard-working and exceptional team player. As a five-star recruit with playing experience in the Pac-12 Conference, Carri brings valuable skills and experience to our team. I'm excited to have her continue to develop as a Titan,” said Head Coach Huynh-McClain page.
Hayes went 6-8 overall for the Buffaloes last season. She was 3-5 in tournaments and 3-3 in doubles matches. As a freshman in 2023, Hayes went 7-14 overall, including 7-10 in dual matches.
The Titans are coming off one of their best seasons in program history after going 17-9 overall and finishing in second place in the Big West Championship Final. Hayes will join a Titans team where eight of the nine players on last season's team were underclassmen with only one senior on the team.
