Devalis Octavius, Minister of Youth, Sports and Citizen Action (MJSAC), together with members of his cabinet Mesguerre St Pierre and Frantz Jean-Louis, met this week with the leaders of national sports federations and associations on the need to establish privileged relationships with partners and key players maintain in the sector.

The functioning of the ministry without an organic law;

Budget allocations to federations;
The remuneration of key positions in the federations;
The partnership between the ministry and the federations;
The reopening of the National School for Sports Talents (ENTS);
The importance of sports infrastructure;
Logistical and administrative support of federations;
The flight of technicians, supervisors and trainers.

The Minister took note of the federations' demands and called on them to present sport as an important lever that can be used and promoted in the major projects to help the country emerge from the multidimensional crisis it is in.

At the end of the meeting, Minister Octavius ​​expressed his determination to maintain close relations with the federations. He established an ad hoc committee responsible for relations between the federations and the ministry. This committee consisted of Ralph Kernizan, director of the Physical and Sporting Activities Directorate (DAPS), Marc Enol Exinord and a representative of the Technical and Advisory Support Unit (UATC).
