Chennai: Get ready for one Sunday filled with joy when the long-awaited Happy streets initiative of The Times of India is back. From 6am to 9am, Anna Nagar 2nd Avenue comes alive with laughter, cheers and lots of fun activities.
This edition promises an exciting program events guaranteed an unforgettable day. Some of the activities include Zumba by O2 Health Studio, hula hoop and rolabola act by Gokulnath Unique Talent Academy, rap performance by Kavipaadum Karigaalan, dance and silambam performances by KSR Academy, beledi dance performance by Team Beledi and Pent_aux performance for On the Streets of Chennai.

Sports enthusiasts will find plenty to do in the sports zone, which includes ice skating, basketball, cricket, badminton, karate, table tennis, football and cycling. Meanwhile, music lovers can indulge in the music zone, and those interested in adopting pets can visit the animal adoption campaign.
The stretch of Second Avenue from Blue Star interchange to Nalli Silks will be closed and traffic will be diverted. Incoming vehicles from Blue Star interchange will be diverted to Fifth Avenue. Incoming vehicles from Anna Nagar Roundtana interchange will be allowed to pass through Shanti Colony.
Happy Streets is a joint initiative of The Times of India with Greater Chennai Traffic Police, Greater Chennai Corporation and Greater Chennai Police.
