India Victory Parade: T20 World Cup Victory Parade for India's cricket team to be held tomorrow; check route and timings
The Men in Blue finally left for Delhi on Wednesday on a charter flight from Grantley Adams International Airport after being stranded in Barbados for three days due to a hurricane.
The special charter flight Air India Champions 24 World Cup (AIC24WC) departed around 4:50 am local time and landed in the Indian capital around 6:20 am on Thursday.
A similar victory parade was also held in 2007, when Mahendra Singh Dhoni won India's first T20 title.
Rohit Sharma and co. are congratulated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi within hours of returning to the country.
When and where is the Victory Parade?
The victory parade will take place in Mumbai, Maharashtra at 5 pm, Jay Shah said.
The World Cup winning team will travel to the scenic Marine Drive and Wankhede Stadium.
