Oregon Football 4-star target Justin Hill opts for 'Dream School' over Ducks
The Oregon Ducks have been one of the best, if not the best, team in the country in terms of recruiting over the past few weeks.
In the past few days alone, the Ducks have acquired four top prospects, including two five-star players: running back Jordon Davison and cornerback Dorian Brew. Both players were highly rated by new Big Ten rival Ohio State.
On Wednesday, it was thought that the Ducks would battle the Buckeyes for another elite recruit in Winton Woods (Cincinnati, OH). However, EDGE Justin Hill shocked many when he decided to verbally commit to Alabama.
Hill chose Alabama over the Buckeyes over Oregon, and USC in a decision that surprised many. It was eagerly anticipated that Hill would choose Ohio State to fulfill a lifelong dream.

Hill, who is ranked the 48th player in the nation, the 6th edge rusher and the 4th player in Ohio according to the On3 Industry Rankings, was seen as a significant favorite to land Ohio State going into his decision with the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine giving the Buckeyes a 94.4 percent chance of landing the four-star prospect.
Hill made his choice after a series of four official visits, starting with a trip to Columbus on May 31, followed by visits to USC on June 7, Alabama on June 14 and Oregon on June 21.
But apparently the visit to Tuscaloosa was too much for the other candidates.
According to 247Sports, Hill had 36 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, 13 sacks and two forced fumbles in his junior campaign, and 42 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks and one interception as a sophomore.
