Bengaluru: Rohith Shankar And Sahana H Murthy won the U-19 singles title in the boys And girls sections respectively in the second state ranking table tennis tournament organised by Dakshina Kannada Table Tennis Association at Father Muller Indoor Stadium in Mangaluru on Thursday.
In the boys' final, Shankar defeated Abhinav K Murthy 11-8, 8-11, 9-11, 11-8, 11-8, 11-7 while Sahana defeated Trupti Purohit 11-9, 11-4, 11-1, 5-11, 11-13, 11-4 to win the girls' title.
Results: Boys U-19: Final: Rohith Shankar bt Abhinav K Murthy 11-8, 8-11, 9-11, 11-8, 11-8, 11-7.
