This weekend there is an event taking place in North Alabama from July 5th-7th
There are plenty of events to enjoy this weekend.
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. There are a few events to keep in mind this weekend!
The market in MidCity – Every Sunday through November 10th, from 12pm to 4pm, with 50 local vendors.
Athens Lions Club Children's Carnival – Rides cost one ticket of 50 cents each. The carnival lasts from Thursday through Saturday evening until July 27.
Summer sounds at the Joe – Music lovers can enjoy live music from July 5 at the new Summer Sounds series at Joe Davis Stadium. The event features music, food and drinks on the West Terrace, with free parking and admission.
Rocket City Trash Panda Games – The Rocket City Trash Pandas will take on the Birmingham Barons at Toyota Field on July 5-6. There will be fireworks after the games on Friday and Saturday nights.
Home Depot Children's Workshops – Held on the first Saturday of every month from 9am to 12pm at locations in North Huntsville, South Huntsville and West Huntsville.
Celtic slow music session – A monthly gathering of musical artists at a local venue featuring a variety of tunes chosen to be relaxing and uplifting, held on the first Sunday of each month from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Guided walk on Rainbow Mountain – Participants in this hike will travel along one of the reserve's most popular trails, the Rainbow Loop Trail, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on July 6.
Huntsville Cars and Coffee – This free event takes place every first Saturday of the month from 8am to 10am, weather permitting, in the Mid City District.
Huntsville Freeway – Taking place on Saturday evening, July 6th. Featuring the Open Wheel Modifieds, STAR SuperTrucks, Sportsman and Pure Stocks, along with races in the Super Stock, Dealers Auto Auction Buzz and Hot Shot divisions.
Beginners Sushi Class (Huntsville) – Learn how to make perfect sushi rice, all the sauces, where to buy ingredients, and how to safely serve raw fish at home.
US National Table Tennis Championships – The USA Table Tennis Nationals will be held at the VBC from July 3-7.
Mullet and moustache competition – Saturday at 8pm in The Camp
