It's a local battle for the first home game of the season for the Colorado State American football team.
Tory Horton was injured in the third quarter and had to leave the field, which was a big concern for CSU. Rams dominated on the ground and achieved victory.
The Rams host Northern Colorado. It's the annual Ag Day game where CSU wears orange uniforms to honor when the school was the Colorado A&M Aggies with official colors being pumpkin and alfalfa.

CSU with another strong drive and the Rams look in control. Keegan Holles runs for 4 yards. It's the first college touchdown for Holles, who now has 9 rushes for 85 yards.
He is a great talent, he is coming back this season after a second torn anterior cruciate ligament.

I said Keegan Holles was going to have a big impact and he comes in and has five carries for 55 yards on the drive. It ends with Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi pulling a read-option and running in for a 2-yard TD.

CSU's first offensive drive featured two Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi connections (to Vince Brown and then Tory Horton) and a 42-yard run by Justin Marshall to get the Rams inside the UNC 5.

More than 37,000 tickets have been sold for Saturday's match. There are 36,500 seats, so it is expected to be standing room only.
The largest crowd for a CSU football home game was 39,107 in 1994 (vs. Utah) at Hughes Stadium. This game will likely rank in the top three in CSU history.
