In the program's third year, nearly 100,000 people across Texas voted on 30 categories from a list of 146 nominees. Winners will receive a custom Best of Texas Tennis plaque or banner.
Texas A&M captured its first national title in women's tennis in May, handing a gauntlet of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee and Georgia by a combined total of 24-4 in the six matches. During the season, the Aggies earned their third straight SEC regular season title, finishing the campaign with a 12–1 ledger and an overall mark of 28–7.
The number 1 player in the country, Maria Stoiana was named Tournament MVP and was joined by teammates on the All-Tournament singles team Carson Branstine, Nicole Khirin And Luciana Perez. Texas A&M earned an All-Tournament Team win in doubles with Stoiana/Mia Kupres on track 1, Branstine/Perez on track 2 and Khirin/Jeanette Mireles on court 3. Stoiana was named ITA Player of the Year, becoming the first Aggie in program history to do so.
