Devils fall into CC Lid-Lifter for Fords
CARLISLE, Pa. – The Dickinson field hockey team took a 1-0 lead less than four minutes into the game, but the visiting Haverford College Fords collected the next three markers to secure a 3-1 Centennial Conference victory on a rain-soaked Biddle Field Complex on Saturday.
- Dickinson would make the first few shots of the game count as Erin Liggio had an attempt stopped by Mary Smith. However, Sophia Pereira was there to provide the rebound and make it 1-0.
- Haverford looked at the cage the next three times, but only Naomi York called DC keeper Taylor Morrow into action nine minutes later.
- Red and White responded with the last five chances of the period Maggie Carson, Natalie Slusser, Nicole Uebele And Becca Woods at least one chance every shot with Smith tasked with making two more saves.
