LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Two youths were shot outside Pleasure Ridge Park High School during a football game against Male on Sunday evening.
John Bradley, a spokesman for the Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to a trouble situation at 7:15 p.m. JCPS security officers asked LMPD to assist with crowd control.
Just after 8 p.m., shots were fired in the parking lot and police found a boy who had been shot multiple times. He was taken to UofL Hospital and has serious injuries.
A second juvenile victim subsequently appeared at Mary and Elizabeth Hospital, but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
After the shooting, the match was stopped and the players were escorted to their locker rooms. Spectators were asked to leave.
The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating, but there are no suspects.
The police assume that the suspects fled through the residential area near the high school. They are asking local residents to check their home surveillance systems for possible images.

Many fans walked under the stands as players were escorted to the lockers. There is room for their safety. We are aware that at least one person was injured. The game was suspended and people were ordered to leave the grounds once JCPS Police and LMPD secured the area.
