'A lot of schools are trying to get me to flip'
Nebraska football has benefited from multiple flips in recent cycles. Last year it was five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola, and this year it was four-star wide receiver Isaiah Mozee.
But others are trying to push Husker to go the other way.
Bryson Webber is a 2025 four-star cornerback from Ridge Point High School in Missouri, City Texas. Webber committed to Nebraska in July and recently updated his recruitment with HuskerMax.
Nebraska has certainly made me feel comfortable and confident in my efforts since then. Communication has definitely been great, Webber said.
As for how locked in he is to his commitment to coach Matt Rhule and the Huskers, Webber sounds like the door isn't completely closed to other opportunities.
“A lot of schools are still trying to convince me to turn around,” Webber said. I think there is enough in Nebraska to stay, but hopefully I plan to make my final decision and lock down with Nebraska within the next month.
Webber has been visiting Big 12 country, but also plans to visit Lincoln.
I recently just got back from the Baylor and BYU game and may go to other college games as time goes on, Webber said. I plan to attend the competition in Wisconsin (Nebraska) later this year.
Should Webber remain all-in on Nebraska, he is confident in what the class of 2025 will bring to Lincoln.
“I like the recruiting class we have now and it feels like we all have a bond,” Webber said. I feel like with this next class we will definitely make an impact next year, both offensively and defensively.
