Under the patronage of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Tennis Federation, the Women's Committee organized a major awareness event to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
This initiative took place in Isa Town and aimed to build a healthier community through sports and education. The event highlighted the Women's Committee's continued commitment to social responsibility.
The focus of the committee was to launch sports initiatives that promote women's health while creating an encouraging environment for them to engage in physical activity.
Shaikh Abdulaziz commended the Women's Committee for organizing such an important event and affirmed that this initiative reflects the federation's commitment to community responsibility. Jameela Al-Nashaba, Chairwoman of the Women's Committee, expressed her joy at the success of the event.
The excitement peaked with a friendly tennis match between Bahraini duo Hajar Zidan and Faten Hussein against Filipino pair This Coral and Abi Belagio. The match ended with the Philippine team winning 2–0.
