Arvind Kejriwal launches tree plantation campaign and table tennis court

New Delhi [India]October 6 (ANI): Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday inaugurated the tree plantation campaign and table tennis court in the New Delhi Assembly. During this meeting, the AAP chairman also met the locals and assured them that all their work would be completed soon.
“Arvind Kejriwal reached out to the people of New Delhi. To give momentum to the Delhi government's tree plantation campaign, former Chief Minister @ArvindKejriwal ji today inaugurated the tree plantation and table tennis court in the New Delhi Assembly. During this meeting, he met the local people and assured them that all their work would be completed quickly,” the AAP wrote on its official X handle.
Kejriwal also shared a message and expressed his happiness to the people of New Delhi constituency.
“I have been missing meeting the people of my constituency for the past five to six months. Today I am very happy to be among the people of New Delhi constituency again,” he wrote on X.
Earlier, Kejriwal launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that the twin-engine governments of the BJP are coming from Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. He added that twin engines have failed in the country.
“I was watching TV last night and there were exit polls coming on. The BJP's twin-engine governments are from Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. The double engine has failed in the country. The first engine failed in June, when they got 240 seats. The engine of Jharkhand and Maharashtra will also slowly fail. People have understood that a twin engine government means inflation, unemployment and corruption,” Kejriwal said while addressing the 'Janta Ki Adalat' event held in the national capital.
“They have governments in 22 states. Ask them if they have provided free electricity even in any of the states. We have made government schools better. They have been in power in Gujarat for 30 years. They have made education for the poor Worse, I challenge Prime Minister Modi to make electricity free, schools and hospitals are bad in Delhi. Crime in remote areas has become worse trying to stop our development work,” he further added.
On September 17, Kejriwal submitted his resignation as Chief Minister to Delhi LG VK Saxena following which Atishi claimed to form the new government days after the AAP chief was released on bail from Tihar jail in the excise policy case. (ANI)
