BRATTLEBORO The Brattleboro Recreation and Parks Department is offering indoor soccer and table tennis for adults starting this month through the winter.
Indoor soccer for adults is offered on Thursday evenings from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Gibson-Aiken Center gymnasium on the third floor. This program starts on October 24 and runs until April 24. Please note that they will not meet on November 28th.
This is a freelance program with no instructor or officers. Pick-up games are played. Those 16 years and older are eligible to play. Those 17 and under must have a waiver signed by a legal guardian.
The cost per night is $5 for Brattleboro residents and $7 for non-Brattleboro residents. Space is limited to 18 players per evening. A 10-session punch pass is offered for $45 for Brattleboro residents and $63 for non-Brattleboro residents. Those planning to participate are asked to wear clean, appropriate footwear.
Table tennis for adults
The Brattleboro Recreation & Parks Department offers table tennis for adults in the Red and Blue Room on the third floor of the Gibson-Aiken Center. The program runs from October 22 to April 22, 2025. The group does not run on December 24 and 25 and January 1, 2025.
The Brattleboro Area Table Tennis Club is open to ping pong players of all levels and beginners are strongly encouraged to participate. Players will spend time warming up and practicing before competitive matches begin between the attending players.
Table tennis is on Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM in the red and blue hall and on Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM in the red hall. The cost per night is $3 for Brattleboro residents and $5 for non-Brattleboro residents. Anyone aged 16 years and older can participate. Participants can also purchase 10-session punch passes for $27 for Brattleboro residents and $45 for non-Brattleboro residents. Those 17 and under must have a waiver signed by a legal guardian. Those under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian.
