Kevin Pietersen has criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board for preparing a flat track in Multan for the first Test between Pakistan and England.
This is the second time the former England captain has questioned the quality of the job.
Shan Masood (151), Salman Ali Agha (104 not out), Abdullah Shafique (102) and Saud Shakeel (82) scored heavily as the hosts posted 556. Jack Leach took three wickets for England.
In response, England were 472/3 with Joe Root and Harry Brook scoring hundreds.
'Still a bowlers graveyard! If this wicket doesn't crumble and produce a result, it will help DESTROY Test cricket,” wrote Kevin Pietersen on X.
Fans responded to KP's comment.
Nasser Hussain and Michael Vaughan have also criticized the Multan track for not helping the bowlers.
Earlier this year, Pietersen criticized the pitch in Hyderabad for providing too much help to the home spinners against England.
“Look at how Ravindra Jadeja's first two deliveries went. That's day 1 of a test. The ball shouldn't be spinning that much.”
Meanwhile, England are in Pakistan for three red-ball matches. Ben Stokes, the regular captain, will not play in the opening match due to a hamstring injury.
