Kibuli SS intensifies training for ISF Gymnasiade U18 Games in Bahrain
As Uganda gears up for the International School Sports Federation (ISF) Gymnasiade U18 matches scheduled for October 23-31 in Manama, Bahrain, the Kibuli SS representative school teams have commenced intensive training.
Kibuli SS will field four teams: boys' and girls' table tennis, boys' badminton and boys' tennis. These teams undergo rigorous training sessions to prepare for their debut on the international school sports scene.
Experienced coaches Alvin Katumba and Joshua Muguluma lead the table tennis and badminton teams respectively.

The table tennis team includes national stars Jemimah Nakawala and Pervin Nangonzi, along with national boys team member Sam Mbabazi. These players are currently competing in the ITTF Africa Championship in Ethiopia, which ends on October 19, and will join the team in Bahrain.
The tennis team received a boost with a donation of 30 balls from the Uganda Tennis Association, supplied by senior coach John Oduke. The boys tennis team, comprising Zziwa Adrian, Moses Kigundu, Eddie Musa and Derrick Agonzebwa, will also make their international debut.

Uganda will also be represented by Seroma Christian High School, which has registered teams for boys and girls basketball 3×3 and swimming; Mbogo College, which participates in girls' table tennis; Mbogo Mixed, in table tennis for boys; Mbogo High, girls badminton; and Rubaga Girls, in girls badminton, in addition to the USSSA select team for athletics.
