Men's tennis is sending several to day four of ITA New England Regionals
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. In Harvard men's tennis, two duos and a pair of singles advanced to the fourth day of the ITA New England Regionals after competition concluded this afternoon.
The duos of Melchior Delloye And Mitchell Lee And James McDonald And Valdemar Pope advanced to the round of 16 after dropping their opponents 8-2 and 8-3 respectively.
For singles Benjamin Private And Rohan Murali picked up a pair of wins today to advance to the quarter-finals of the region's main draws. First, Privara dropped Alex Finkelstein (Bruin) 7-6 (7), 6-3 before recording a convincing 6-4, 6-1 victory over Petar Teodorovic (Cornell).
Murali also recorded two wins in a row, beating both Cheng Tang (Buffalo) and Aman Sharma (Cornell) to progress to the last eight.
Harvard recorded two more victories that day Masato Perera And Valdemar Pope each advances to the round of 16 after dominant straight set wins.
