Fantasy Hockey Goalie Waiver Wire: Streaming options for Thursday, October 24

On every matchday this season THN fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster the rest of the season. The featured players and goalies can be used in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.

Goalkeepers

David Rittich, LA vs. SJ (18% scheduled)

Expect Rittich to get the start if Darcy Kuemper isn't ready for the Kings' home opener; they had a seven-game roadie to start the season while their home track was being renovated. Rittich and the Kings were eliminated by the Knights in a 6-1 loss in their last game, but they should bounce back against the worst team in the league. The Sharks are still looking for their first win and still don't have top prospect Macklin Celebrini in the lineup.

Justus Annunen, COL at UTA (19% scheduled)

Annunen's fantasy value is to climb and gain strength. Sure, he had two manageable games against the Ducks and Kraken, but he also only allowed two goals total. This will be a tougher test, but the Avs should have the advantage due to their elite scoring; Utah will rely heavily on Mikhail Sergachev with a very messed up blueline. If the Avs get into trouble, they can get out of it.

If Annunen gets this start, he should be one of the top streaming options of the night.

Dan Vladar, CGY vs. AUTO (7% scheduled)

The Canes have dominated this matchup in recent seasons with a 6-1-1 record over the past eight games, including a 7-2 win last season. However, barring a weak performance in the season opener, Vladar has allowed just three goals in his past two games.

The Canes' attack is not as explosive as last season, averaging just three goals per game and a goal differential of plus two. I think the Flames can make this game tight. The Canes only scored three against the struggling Oilers, which gives them a chance to win, but I feel like the Canes still have the edge in this game.

Alex Lyon, DET vs. NJ (21% scheduled)

With Lyon winning two games in a row, including an impressive 29-save shutout win against the Isles, expect him to start again. This is not an easy game, and the Devils have typically been much better on the road than at home. It's hard to argue against a good goalkeeper, though, so I'd at least treat this match with cautious optimism.

Another strong performance, even with defeat, means Lyon could wrest the No. 1 job from Cam Talbot. Lyon faced the Devils just once last season on November 22 and shut them out, but don't expect that to happen this time as the Devils were a .500 team at the time and only managed 16 shots on net that game without a captain Nico. Smaller in the setup.

Marc-Andre Fleury, MIN at TB (15% scheduled)

You'd have to have some pretty strong nerves to stream Fleury in this matchup. The Lightning scored eight goals last game, they've beaten the Wild three times in a row, and Fleury hasn't played since Oct. 12 in a 4-5 loss to the Kraken.

On the plus side, the Wild have been one of the best teams in the league this season, and they are 3-0-1 on the road with the requisite talent and depth to make this an exciting match. The Wild have limited their opponents to just one goal in three straight games, but it will admittedly be difficult to do that against the Lightning.
