Mount Lebanon, North Catholic and Quaker Valley are still on their mission to win state team tennis titles.

All three won the quarterfinals of the PIAA playoffs Friday in Hershey to advance to Saturday's semifinals.

In Class 2A, WPIAL champion North Catholic (19-1) defeated District 3 runner-up Lancaster Country Day 4-1. No. 3 singles Evelyn Marche and the doubles teams of Katie Hardy and Jessica Sinclair and Ava Conley and Macaria Stall won matches for North Catholic, which will meet District 1 champion Lower Moreland in the semifinals.

WPIAL runner-up Quaker Valley (15-2) edged District 3 champion Berks Catholic 4-1. The Quakers scored sweeps with straight set wins from Kirsten Close, Avery Allan and Jay Olawaiye and earned a win over No. 1 doubles from Livia Jobbins and Jane Lenhard.

Quaker Valley will face District 2 champion Scranton Prep in the semifinals.

In Class 3A, WPIAL champion Mt. Lebanon (17-0) didn't drop a set in a 5-0 win over District 2 champion Abington Heights. Jackie Tang, Michelle Yang and Elena Tatel rolled through the singles matches, as did Sylvie Eriksen and Sarah Stroh and Alejandra Garcia and Maggie Meehan in the doubles.

The Blue Devils will meet District 1 champion Lower Merion in the semifinals.

Lower Merion defeated Shady Side Academy 4-1 in the quarterfinals. Brooke Henderson won at No. 2 singles for the Bulldogs (14-3). Bethel Park lost 3-0 to District 1 runner-up Council Rock South.
