Islanders Gameday News: The turmoil is the bottom six
Ahead of the Islanders hosting the Anaheim Ducks tonight, Patrick Roy cleared the air with speculation that he and Lou Lamoriello are not on the same page regarding the roster and lineup.
That speculation, innuendo or informed reading of tea leaves (depending on how you read them) stemmed from Roy not speaking to the media before the final match. Lou, who made a series of moves, did that instead, and under the Lou regime, why would that ever happen? need to hear from more than one? and then formulate things possibly ambiguously.
Anyway, Roy heard the noise and tried to turn it off yesterday. In short: Lou chooses the roster, I choose the lineup, and we both had a daily conversation about what is best for both of us. The crux of the matter, or the source of the pain, he said, is that they don't yet feel comfortable with the combos they've tried in the bottom six.
Anyway, leave your First Islanders Goal picks for tonight here.

- To expand on the above, Roy has now acquired three new players and is still looking for the right combos for his bottom six. (Often that's a sign that you don't have enough horses in your bottom six.) For the next version of line four, Kyle MacLean is joined by Pierre Engvall. And Hudson Mardi Gras. [THN | Newsday | Isles]
- Other updates in that last link include Alex Romanov, still day-to-day, and Ilya Sorokin starting tonight against the Ducks, while Semyon Varlamov will start against Columbus.
- I stake he is: Matt Martin values his one-year contract. Unspoken, but the nature of the beast: thankful for Anthony Duclair's injury. [Isles]
- Prospect Report: Quinn Finley is on a five-game point streak, and Marcus Gidlf is impressing with tastefully understated use of umlaut. [Isles]

Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless. Usually, insurance companies will do research about a potential customer before granting him coverage. Online quotes can be sorted easily.
