All-Ohio football 2024: Division I teams announced by OHSAA
COLUMBUS, Ohio While Northeast Ohio felt left out of the Division I state championship, St. Edward senior linebacker Nate Gregory is Ohio's defensive player of the year.
The Ohio High School Athletic Association on Thursday announced its All-Ohio football teams in Division I, as selected by the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association.
Gregory, who led the Eagles back to the state semifinals, is the lone Defensive Player of the Year in Division I. The three-year starter collected 172 total tackles, including 61 solo hits during the regular season. Matt Ponatoski, Archbishop Moeller, junior quarterback from Cincinnati, who won the American Mr. Football award is the offensive player of the year.
The OHSAA announced the All-Ohio football teams in Divisions II and III on Wednesday, following Divisions IV and V on Tuesday. Divisions VI and VII were announced on Monday. Here are the All-Ohio teams announced Thursday. Northeast Ohio players are in bold:
