Women's tennis releases 2025 schedule
FORT WORTH – The TCU women's tennis team has announced its schedule for the 2025 spring season, the program announced Thursday. The Horned Frogs will face fourteen ranked opponents last season, including the top two teams in the country, Texas A&M and Oklahoma State.
Nasty To kick off the season, the Frogs will travel to College Station to participate in the ITA Kickoff Weekend after finishing in the top 50 of the ITA team rankings at the end of last season. The two-seeded Frogs open the season against the three-seeded Denver Pioneers on Friday, January 24, and play either Texas A&M or South Florida the next day.
The Frogs then travel to Houston to take on the Rice Owls on February 2 before heading to Santa Barbara to take on the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos on February 9.
On February 16, the Frogs will play in their home opener when they take on Brown at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. The Frogs face the Texas Longhorns on February 20 before completing the homestand with a game against the Washington State Cougars on February 22.
TCU will play one final match before conference play when they take on UT-Arlington at the UTA Tennis Center.
The Horned Frogs open conference play on Feb. 28 as they host the West Virginia Mountaineers, followed by another home game against Cincinnati two days later
The Frogs will then head south where they will take on the Houston Bearcats on March 7, then travel to Orlando to play the UCF Knights on March 9.
TCU returns home for a threegame home stretch, where they will face Texas Tech (March 14), Colorado (March 16) and Tulsa (March 18).
The Horned Frogs will then travel to the Sunflower State dueling the Kansas Jayhawks on March 21 before concluding the trip with a game at Iowa State on March 23.
For their final two home games, the Frogs will host Oklahoma State and Kansas State on March 28 March 30 respectively.
For starters In the month of April, the Frogs head to Arizona, where they will face the Arizona State Sundevils on April 4 and the Arizona Wildcats two days later on April 6.
For their final game, TCU will take on the Baylor Bears in Waco on Saturday, April 12.
The Frogs will play in the Big 12 Championships starting in Aprilil 16-20, which will take place in Waco, Texas at the Hurd Tennis Center.
