No. 10 Tigers, edged by No. 4 Denver
Fourth-ranked Denver rallied to split its weekend series with No. 10 Colorado College after a 2-1 win Saturday night at Magness Arena.
The Tigers scored first and midway through the opening period Kaidan Mbereko kept DU off the scoreboard in the first 20 minutes, but the Pioneers scored a goal in the second period and a third, tying the Gold Pan series at 1 apiece.

The Tigers (10-5-1, 4-3-1 NCHC) kept it even by ending a five-minute check behind a major penalty and game misconduct Tyler Dunbar later in the period.
The Pioneers (14-4-0, 4-4-0) took their first lead of the match when Cale Ashcroft took a pass from behind the net and fired a shot from the right circle past Mbereko with 5:28 left. third period.
