Players will take part in a toy donation drive ahead of Christmas
Haringey Council Cabinet Member for Communities and Ward Councilor for Northumberland Park, Cllr Ajda Ovat, said: As the mother of an enthusiastic young Spurs fan, I know only too well what a fascinating and exciting experience today will have been for our children and young people in Haringey.
I would like to thank the Spurs players for taking time out of their busy schedules to support our young people, as well as Tottenham Hotspur for their generous donations to the Local Buyers Clubs Winter Toy Appeal.
With the cost of living affecting so many families in Haringey, this kind of generosity will mean so much to our young people.
What a fantastic way to kick off the seasonal festivities in our community!
Players from the ladies first team Bethany England, Jess Naz and Luana Buhler recently visited the Craig Park Youth Center in Enfield to make toy donations, while the Club has also made donations to the food bank and delivered baskets to hospital staff as part of our Christmas community support programme.
In addition, the Club already became the first sporting partner of the Multibank Christmas Campaign, with players, staff and fans donating essential products to combat the problem of hygiene poverty in our communities.
