Shin Yoo-bin (Korean Air), the female table tennis player who led Korea to second place at this year's World Championships in mixed groups, has returned to the top 10 of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) world rankings.
Shin Yu-bin was ranked 10th in the December women's senior world rankings announced by the ITTF on the 18th (Korea Standard Time).
It rose to ninth place in October and dropped two places to 11th last month, but has now returned to the top 10.
Shin Yu-bin played a key role in South Korea's runner-up finish by competing in the singles, women's doubles and mixed doubles at the Mixed Team World Cup held in Chengdu, China earlier this month.
Out of a total of eleven games, the country allowed two defeats against China alone, but won all nine games, including 'enemy' Japan.
Shin Yu-bin also led the Asian team to victory against the World Team at the recently concluded Valdner Cup, and is ranked 9th in the World Table Tennis (WTT) women's prize money rankings with $111,975 dollars.
