We will be bold and courageous, says new Table Tennis England CEO Sally Lockyer
CEO of Table Tennis England, Sally Lockyer, says that under her leadership the organization will be bold and courageous in driving growth in the sport.
Sally started in this role on Monday and describes herself as excited, excited, excited to seize the opportunities and take on the challenges ahead.
In her interview she talks about the skills and experiences she has gained from working in the sports sector for years.
She covers topics such as performance financing, the profile of the sport, the… Table tennis United strategy, governance, revenue diversification, digital transformation and her own experiences with table tennis.
She also talks about her plans to go out and meet people in the sport and listen to members' voices, which she describes as a fundamental part of her role.

Formerly CEO of the Surrey FA, Sally previously held senior roles at the British Athletes Commission, Commonwealth Games and numerous World Championships. She has also worked with Champions League, Juventus, AC Milan and Fulham football clubs, in addition to global sports brands such as Nike, Kappa and Lotto.
Sally was also an Independent Non-Executive Director at Triathlon England from 2013 to 2022, where she was a long-standing member of the organisation's strategy working group. Additionally, she was a Sported Business Mentor providing business support to community sports organizations to help them reach and improve the lives of disadvantaged youth.
