Commissioner Karachi Sports Festival concludes
The Commissioner Karachi Sports Festival concluded here late on Tuesday with exciting badminton and table tennis matches.
Government National College Morning secured first place in the badminton boys event, while Government National College Evening came second.
In the table tennis category, PECHS Foundation emerged victorious, with National College (morning) finishing second.
Additional Commissioner Karachi Syed Ghaznfar Ali Shah attended the event as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners
He said that under the patronage of Karachi Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi, healthy recreational opportunities will continue to be provided to the youth of Karachi. Director of Government National College, Dr. Professor Javed Ali Abbasi, AC Isa Khan, ACG Hazim Bhanguar and organizing secretary Ghulam Mohammad Khan were also present on the occasion.
HEC's representative Javed Memon SOA's representative Ahmed Ali Rajput was also present at the meeting.
Ghulam Mohammad announced that a sports festival will be organized in various schools very soon. Details will be announced later this week.
Meanwhile, a grand cultural show will be held at SSB Youth and Sports Club on Thursday (today) from 9 am to evening, with admission free. APP
