National Champions Watson and Whyte will headline the JTTA National Squad for the upcoming 2025 tournaments
Reigning national champions Kane Watson and Keeara Whyte are the headliners of the 2025 Jamaica Table Tennis Association (JTTA) team members who will represent Jamaica in upcoming regional and international events, including the 2025 Caribbean Table Tennis Championships.
The teams were selected primarily based on the results of trials held at the National Arena in Kingston on November 16 and 17.
Watson, a six-time national champion, in the senior group included 2023 national champion Mark Phillips, Azizi Johnson, Paulton Madden, Brian Blake and Joel Lamm.
Blake, Johnson and Lamm will also be part of the U-19 men's group alongside Kareem Powell, Jayden Ebanks and Ricardo Gutzmore.
Whyte is joined in the senior women's group by Tsenaye Lewis, Gianna Lewis, Karecia Peterkin, Olivia Peterkin and Juanita Baxter.
Tsenaye Lewis, Olivia Peterkin and Karecia Peterkin are also in the under-19 women's group alongside Kayan Denton and Nevaeh Scott.
The under-15 male team included Logan Royes, Gmarco Smith, Ajani Spencer, Anthony Bird, Kyle Johnson and Isaiah Manning, while the under-15 female team included Keeara Whyte, Kira Scott, Christina Royes, Mistique Sharp, Allayne Ridley and Kayla Lewis.
The selections start training in January.
