Jannik Sinner tops the list of men's tennis' biggest earners after winning an eye-watering amount of money during his spectacular 12 months on the ATP Tour.
Sinner started the year in style by winning the Australian Open eleven months ago and taking the US Open on his way to eight titles in total.
The Italian ended the year as world number 1 after triumphing at the ATP Finals and celebrated this with Italy at the end of the season, capturing his first Davis Cup.
The 23-year-old's impressive year on the ATP Tour, in which he won 73 out of 79 matches, means he has added a significant amount to his personal wealth and placed him among the richest tennis players.
Sinner has raked in a whopping €15.8 million ($19.7 million) in prize money in 2024 alone, representing the second-highest total in a single season. He still lags far behind Djokovic's 2015 earnings, which totaled 17.3 million ($21.6 million).
But this year alone he has earned more than four times as much as Djokovic in his tournament prize money. The Serbian, who failed to win a Grand Slam in a calendar year for the first time since 2017, paid the price after only reaching the final at Wimbledon.
The 24-time Major winner took home a respectable 3.53 meters, the eighth highest of any men's singles player. But it paled in comparison to Sinner's revenues, with a huge head-to-head margin of 12.3 million.
Second on the list was Alexander Zverev, who like Sinner took home his highest annual total after the German pocketed 9.2 million ($11.5 million) after reaching the French Open final.
Despite not winning a Slam, he finished ahead of four-time winner Carlos Alcaraz on the money list, even after his double win at the French Open and Wimbledon. Alcaraz earned a payday of 8.3 million, although at 21 he still has his best years ahead of him.
Taylor Fritz, Daniil Medvedev, Casper Ruud, Andre Rublev, Alex de Minaur and Stefanos Tsitsipas also joined Zverev in the seven-figure winning club.
Rafael Nadal missed the top 10, taking home just 240,789 ($301,661) from his on-field exploits before his retirement in November. He remains second on the all-time list with more than 103 yards rushing in his illustrious career.
Similarly, former British No. 1 Andy Murray collected just 322,626 ($404,186) from his tennis matches this year after being knocked out in August.
