A look at the work of staff photographer Vinny Tennis in 2024 | Local news
Great photojournalism isn't always about the biggest news events. Often it's about how a photographer captures a moment that no one else sees, taking readers behind the scenes, including documenting the lengths a scavenger will go to to survive.

The other weekend I was tying through a new cache of webbing for Garden Spot Fire Rescue's water rescue team. The fabric will be used to connect to anchor points in rope rescue operations. Daisy Chain is a term used for a combination of knots to shorten a piece of webbing or rope, mainly while it is in storage. I started with twelve green lengths of 6 meters in a pile. I was intrigued by the shadows created by the knots and wondered what it would look like if I added the other three lengths in different colors. By the time I finished the other twelve pieces of web, the sun had set and I had lost my light. A few days later I took them back out on deck, threw them in a pile and photographed them. In total, there is almost 120 meters of fabric tied up and ready to be deployed quickly if necessary. The method: Canon 1DX with an 85mm lens, ISO of 100, shutter speed at 125th of a second at f/16.
An Eastern Redbud will begin changing color in New Holland on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. I love all four seasons here in Lancaster County. But I'll probably say I'm most sad when summer is over. This past weekend was the fall equinox and I noticed a beautiful pattern on our neighbor's Eastern Redbud tree. I found it interesting how the leaves at the tip of the branch were red, and the green was light and darkened towards the trunk. Soon all the trees will change color and we will start making up the leaves. When it starts snowing and the ski season starts, everything will be fine again. THE METHOD: Canon EOS 7D Mark II with a 70-200mm lens with a 1.4X converter set at 230mm, shutter speed of 1/1600 second, aperture of f-13 at ISO 2500.

What Are The Main Benefits Of Comparing Car Insurance Quotes Online
LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / June 24, 2020, / Compare-autoinsurance.Org has launched a new blog post that presents the main benefits of comparing multiple car insurance quotes. For more info and free online quotes, please visit https://compare-autoinsurance.Org/the-advantages-of-comparing-prices-with-car-insurance-quotes-online/ The modern society has numerous technological advantages. One important advantage is the speed at which information is sent and received. With the help of the internet, the shopping habits of many persons have drastically changed. The car insurance industry hasn't remained untouched by these changes. On the internet, drivers can compare insurance prices and find out which sellers have the best offers. View photos The advantages of comparing online car insurance quotes are the following: Online quotes can be obtained from anywhere and at any time. Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless. Usually, insurance companies will do research about a potential customer before granting him coverage. Online quotes can be sorted easily. Although drivers are recommended to not choose a policy just based on its price, drivers can easily sort quotes by insurance price. Using brokerage websites will allow drivers to get quotes from multiple insurers, thus making the comparison faster and easier.
