Cal wraps up day 2 in Hawaii

Berta Passola Folch wins the singles in Hawaii on Saturday.
HONOLULU The California women's tennis team recorded seven wins at the Rainbow Wahine Spring Invitational on Saturday, including singles victories over the nationally ranked Golden Bears Lan Mi And Berta Passola Folk.
Mi, a senior ranked 63rd, defeated Makeilah Nepomuceno of Hawaii 6-2, 6-0, while Passola Folch, a junior ranked 81st, defeated UCLA's Kimmi Hance 7-6(5), 6-3. Graduate student Cami Brown defeated Hannah Galindo of Rainbow Wahine 6-2, 2-6, 7-5, senior Makenna Thiel defeated Sheena Masuda of Hawaii 4-6, 7-5, 6-2, and freshman Greta Greco Lucchina defeated UH's Nikola Homolkova 0-6, 6-4, 6-3.
The Bears went 2-2 in doubles, including the pair Mao Mushika And Katja Wiersholm defeating UCLA's seventh-ranked Hance and Elise Wagle 6-4 and the duo of Brown and Tiziana-Marie Schomburg defeated Joelle Lanz and Emma Forgac of Hawaii 6-3.
The three-day tournament concludes Sunday, with matches starting at 11 a.m. PT at the UH Tennis Complex.
