PT Jyvskyl dominates the Finnish women's championship series
PT Jyvskyl captured the title in the Finnish Women's Championship Series, held in Ruskeasuo, Helsinki, with an impressive performance. In the final they defeated PT Espoo with a decisive 3-0 victory. The champions' standout player, Maria GIRLEA, remained undefeated all weekend.

Next to Girleathe PT Jyvskyl team consisted of the Estonian player Vitalia REINOL and the Romanian Dora MOLDOVAN, both of whom celebrated the triumph. PT Espoo, the silver medalists, were represented by Aleksandra TITIEVSKAJA, Polina LEVKINA and Alisa SINISHIN.
In the battle for bronze, PT 75's second team caused an upset by beating the club's first team 3–2.
The Women's Championship Series made a long-awaited return to Finnish table tennis after a 22-year hiatus. Looking ahead to next season, Mikkelin PALLOSEURA will replace Helsinki-based MBF, who have withdrawn from the top division.
